Measured base plan
Setting Out · Phase 03 — Site analysis
Upload the base plan
A photo or scan of the finished sheet, showing the boundaries, the house footprint, and the scale, north point, date and source of your boundary dimensions.
The scale you drew at
1:100 on A3 covers roughly 42 by 29.7 metres. Drop to 1:200 for a bigger block.
The date on the sheet
The day you taped the block, not the day you drew it up.
What you have marked on the plan
One line each. Boundaries, house footprint, doors and windows, paths, existing structures, downpipes, taps, the meter.
Every tree over two metres
One row per tree. Anything under two metres does not need to be on the base plan.
| Tree | Height (m) | Where it sits on the plan |
|---|---|---|
Where the drawing lives
Filename and folder, or which clipboard the paper original is on. Photograph the field sketch as well.
What the measure-up turned up
Anything that surprised you — taped boundaries that disagree with the Landgate plan, a house that is not square, something you could not locate.
